A few months ago I shared about how I found an old journal, accidentally. I opened it and was reminded of all God did in a short, three and a half year season.
Who I was before this season was completely different than how I was after. Before, I was shy, fearful and isolated. And then, God transformed me; through discipleship, prayer, worship and repentence.
I will forever be grateful for this season.
It was as if before I was blind, but now I can see.
After finding this journal, I wanted to share some of these short truths with you. So, I went through my lengthy journal and one by one, started gleening some of the daily questions, thoughts, and truths I penned down in this season.
I hope each one will bless you as much as they have blessed me. I find it best to read each one slowly, stop and really meditate on it. Life is not a sprint, it is a marathon.
Twenty more uncovered truths found from my lost journal:
- Can we believe, even when prayers are not answered like we want?
- One of the greatest gifts we can pass on to our children, is faith.
- Life is an exchange. Our sin for His righteousness. (More here)
- Can we say, we are willing to exchange it all for Him?
- Sarah’s womb took 25 years to produce fruit. Good fruit takes time. Don’t rush God.
- What God says you are, you are.
- What God says to do, we should do.
- We often want to give up just before we get around the next corner to what He has for us. Don’t give up!
- The consequences of decisions are not our responsibility. We are called simply to follow.
- Don’t hide in the back row trembling. There is safety where He calls.
- Boldness is not the same as pride.
- Never be satisfied, but always be content.
- Peter went from being a coward to an annointed apostle preaching in the streets. Only Jesus!
- You can be fearless and take risks when God is on your side.
- Miracles are never for ourselves.
- The hardest thing we find time to do is often the thing we NEED to be doing most.
- Find meaing in your name.
- What is the lie (the stronghold) you are believing?
- Can I consider everything in this world a loss, compared to Christ?
- Passionate people produce passionate people.
