My mind and heart spun back to a time when God grew rapidly from far off to close and personal, intimate and relational in my life.
A blue and brown journal with cofffee cups on the front stared back at me. I open it, thinking it might be empty, so my daughter could tackle Pre-Algebra in it.
But instead God had a different surprise.
My mind swirled to a past season, the journal was written from. Memories, thoughts, miracles, Scripture; God used in that season to radically transform me.
I saw sin in myself. I discovered hypocracy, in my own heart. And I learned about a Kingdom that couldn’t be shaken, unaltered by the fallacy of man.
In my last blog post, I shared some of the things I learned then. (If you missed that post you can find it here, “20 Short Truths from my Lost Journal”.)
Today, I want to keep adding to what I shared, because, well honestly, I have been enjoying this jolt back into memory lane. Hope you enjoy it too.
Again, these quotes are just a small sample of the ample of Scripture shared while there, at our previous church.
And to be honest, I do not even recognize the person I am in the mirror, today, because of what God did in that short three year season.
Let me know which quote impacts you most. And please, don’t be afraid to share these on social media.
