Only five. Yet, what a life? If defeat was justified by trying times…
We would just throw in the towel…not even try.
Deaf in one ear at birth. Told, in time…she may never hear.
Exposed. Delayed in speech & many other ways.
Yet, not defeated. Tricked by the enemies schemes.
We are God’s children. Made in Spirit…and for Truth!
Whatever the antidote. Regardless of dooms day quotes…
How, she can’t learn. Won’t learn. Is struggling still.
But, I say…God is for us..who can be against us?
Even though it can be tough…He has given us the tools.
For Faith. Hope. Success…according to His will.
So, today. She graduates. Maybe not from Harvard…but Preschool.
Rejoice…because she still can hear…in part.
Rejoice because she carries around abundant love in her heart.
Rejoice. What the enemy used to harm her…God used for good.
Rejoicing that her name that once meant, “Goddess of death” is now void…never again to be heard.
“Heard by God”, is her new name. “Victorious”…the other.
And the child once left..neglected..malnourished. Is our child…love eternal…

Congratulations on graduation! Yes, what satan meant for harm, God meant for good. And he will continue to bless her (and you) more and more for His love and ways are beyond what we could ever ask or imagine.
Hi Jen. I am humbled by how you celebrate the highs because I can only imagine the lows you go through first. All things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. Strength to you and I hope you have many more celebrations in store.
God bless
