Friend.
The one lost sheep, wandering from the fold. The Shepard leaves the ninety-nine to bring the one home.
Good son, yet bad sons prodigals away. Yet, His Father? Arms open. Willingly forgave. Jonah, the prophet who was thrown to a fish. A second time. Forgive. A chance to try again. The woman at the well, marriage, all relationships fell. Lord, Savior, anointed her, her town to tell. Paul, the persecutor, spread the gospel well. Each. A stone cast. Found overwhelming welcome still.
The man on the cross. A sinner. Rightly so. His last breath so close. His eyes before they close. See. A Savior. Acknowledge the sinless one. Confess. Repent. Ask to be one of Jesus friends. This day. A Kingdom shared. The sinner soon turned saint. Redeemed not by his own works, but only by His grace.
