I awake today. Coffee perking. Eyes blurring. Sun chasing away the clouds.
Morning sounds.
A child laughs. I rise in joy. I see Him in, the waking cry of creation. Around me waking.
Robins singing. Building nests. Grass swaying. Leaves aching. With color. Wonder. Exploration. For another day.
A chance to embrace. Life.
Wonder. Around every corner. Alerting one another. To His ways. His goodness. His power.
Light dawns. It beckons. Come.
Hear.
Sink in.
Surrender.
The hour near. I tune my ear. I find any power….not in myself….but In His Word. Pulsating. Aching to saturate, more of me. More than in mind…but in heart. Soul. Everything.
Flood rise within. Crying for release. Walls cracking. Breaking. Quaking.
The power of surrender. Power of now. Power of His name….
Jesus! Like the dawn of a new day. The power of His name… “Jesus!”
